Monday Refuel and Yelling at My Kids....

(Our boys at Palo Duro Canyon 2012)

"By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation,
the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs."
(Psalm 65:5-8, ESV)

Monday morning!! Here we go! We are all full of energy and ready to take on the week! How many of you just read that and thought I was either out of my mind or still hung over from an amazing Sunday? Go ahead and laugh! Its Monday, we all need a good laugh. The reality of Monday? We are all tired, dreading the week, already yelling at our kids, and are ready for the week to end before it starts! We are all human and we are tired because our strength does not last. We must refuel ourselves.

The hope that we have in God is immeasurable and often can't be described in words. The hope that God gives you and me exceeds to the ends of the earth and to the farthest seas. The strength and power of God is beyond our comprehension or imagination. That is the kind of strength you and I need for this Monday morning. We need a God who stills the seas, the waves, and the drama of people! God is in control of all of this  so we can trust in him and live in awe of what he is doing in our lives. The strength and power that God provides will enable us to see his presence on this dreaded Monday morning. Depend on God today and everyday and you will see past Monday, you will see God at work all around you everyday.

Today is temporary...stay with it!
Trent
