The Lord has heard my supplication;
the Lord accepts my prayer.
the Lord accepts my prayer.
(Psalm 6:9, NRSV)
When we are in the midst of a season of suffering, it is often difficult to see the presence of God.
In the valley of pain and suffering it is hard to see past the valley. Some of us can see past the valley while some can't even see past the trial in front of them.
I truly believe we all have seen both perspectives in our journey's through life. Sometimes its hard and sometimes its not as difficult. One reality we do learn in either circumstance is that we need God and we can't do it alone.
When we approach God on behalf of our own pain and the suffering of others, he hears us.
This is an avenue of healing that we have when we trust and wait upon God for strength.
No matter the circumstances we face, God is there and he hears us. God knows our pain before we even take it to him. Our God is a powerful God who can heal and care for us personally while in the same moment, he is God of the universe! Just as God disciplines us when we abandon him, he cares for us as we trust and wait for him.
When we can't see past the pain, we must remember that we serve a God who is able to carry us through it. You will get through it, this may involve a walk through the valley, but you will get though it with God on your side.
Stay with it, never give up, God see's past the pain and the valley.
Hold on tight!...Trent
