How are you today?

The February sun has risen and we have seen our first sunrise for the month of February.  A beginning is like a second chance, another opportunity to begin again. Sometimes we just want to start all over and erase the past.  We all know we can't do that.  What we can do is see each day, week, or month as a new beginning.  Ask yourself each day as you awake,"how are you today?"  Do it before you do anything or face anyone.  As you venture out to work, school, or the store, ask others the same question and see what happens. See what happens to you, your day, and your encounters with others.  It just might surprise you.  Picture God asking you the same question and think about what your honest response would be.  This enables you to be honest with yourself and God.  If it is a negative response like, "I'm tired, don't feel good, etc", at least you have been honest and are more aware of how you feel.  It will make a difference in your day, it might not take it all away and make it "great!" But it will make a difference.
So, "how are you today?"
