Monday Refuel

"Come and hear, all you who fear God,
and I will tell what he has done for my soul." (Psalm 66:16, ESV)

My prayer for you this week is that you may see and experience what God has done for you in your life through the years. When we think of refueling our souls, we often forget to look at what God has done for us. When we look at what God has done for us, we gain strength from it. The strength we receive from recognizing God's presence in our lives is indescribable. There are times when all we can do is look in awe at what God has done for us, even when we didn't deserve it.

Spend some time today reflecting on what God has done in your life through the course of your journey. Take a moment and perhaps write some things down so you can look at it when you need the strength and encouragement during those darker days ahead. I know it may be difficult to do sometimes, but this practice will refuel your soul and it will heal you in places you never realized needed healing. When we become self centered and bitter towards life, we have forgotten about what God has done for us. Begin refueling your soul today by looking at what God has done, is doing, and what he will do in the future for you. Stay with it and you will begin to see changes in your attitude and outlook on life. You will begin to see differently...

Stay the course...Trent

  1. Great thoughts... so greedy for what we need now ... and thinking God hasn't provided...but that look backward reminds us He's carried us all along.
